NCDPI Assessment Resources
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction provides unpacking documents and test specifications for the state assessments (End-of-Course exams, End-of-Grade exams, NC Check-Ins).
KCS curriculum and assessments are aligned to the state standards and assessments. Teachers should be aware of the content and format of the state assessments and should prepare students accordingly. Teams of teachers should use NCDPI documents to collaborative plan instruction. These documents help clarify state expectations, provide examples for practice, and familiarize teachers and students with testing format.
