SeeSaw
In K-2, KCS uses SeeSaw, an extremely simple, yet powerful way for students to document work. Teachers can make assignments and parents can see things that are happening in the classroom.
KCS chose SeeSaw for K-2 classrooms because it does not require individual logins and works smoothly in a shared iPad environment. In the extremely simple interface, students choose the plus sign and then have six choices for how to share their work. Whether it’s recording a video them retelling a story, drawing a picture to show how they solved a math problem, or snapping a photo of something they built in centers, student thinking can be seen and documented.
